The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones is a fantasy adventure film directed by Harald Zwart and based on the best-seller novel by Cassandra Clare. There are five books, and right now they have only produced this movie, a follow-up to the successful Mortal Instruments saga.

The main character is a young girl called Clary Fray, who discovers that she’s descended from a warriors line called Shadow Hunters who kill demons and protect the world from them. After her mother disappears, she joins forces with a group of Shadow Hunters who show her another New York called underworld, full of demons, witches, vampires, werewolves and other dangerous creatures.

The film is great, and the book is very well written. Clary and the group of Shadow Hunters are very brave because they have to deal with death every second of their lives. I love all the characters in the film, but I specially love Jace. For me, the actor who plays the Valentine Morgenstern character in the film is too young, but he acted very well in the movie. And although in the film appears to have many changes from the book, the storyline doesn’t change. You must go to watch this movie, it will be your favourite film ever!
